Who we are

AscendSphere is operated from Belgium. We build social media automation software. For anything about your data, write to privacy@ascendsphere.io.

What we collect

• Account — your name and email, through our login provider.
• What you tell us — what your business does, your audience, tone, and any details you share in chat so we can write content for you.
• What you upload — photos and media you send us.
• Connected channels — access tokens for the social accounts you connect, so we can publish on your behalf.
• Usage — what we generated, what you approved, and what was published, so you can see your own history.
• Payments — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Who we share it with

To generate content we send parts of what you give us to these processors. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

• OpenAI (USA) — writes your scripts and captions, checks quality, transcribes audio. Receives your business description and topics.
• Replicate (USA) — renders video and lip-sync. Receives the image and audio for that video.
• ElevenLabs (USA) — generates the voiceover. Receives the spoken line.
• Supabase (EU region) — stores your account, content and media.
• Clerk (USA) — handles login.
• Stripe (EU/USA) — handles payments and invoices.
• DigitalOcean (Frankfurt, Germany) — runs our servers.
• The social platforms you connect — receive the posts you approve.

Transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Why we may do this

To deliver the service you signed up for (contract), to keep it secure and working (legitimate interest), and to meet our legal duties such as keeping invoices. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.

How long we keep it

• Account and content: while your account is open.
• Generated media: 90 days, then removed from our storage.
• After you delete your account: 30 days, then gone.
• Invoices: 7 years, because Belgian law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or take it elsewhere. Email privacy@ascendsphere.io and we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

AI-generated content

Everything we create is generated by AI. We label it as such on every platform that supports it, because those platforms require it and because you and your audience deserve to know.

Changes

If we change anything that matters, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
